JRG Entertainment looks ahead to July 12By Allison Skeete CaribWorldNews, New York, NY: June 12, 2009 The Models Launch Party of the Bikini Under the Bridge Fashion show which has become the signature event for JRG Fashion Events was by all reports an enticing and exciting
had to be there event this past Saturday night at The Aviator, Floyd Bennett Field.
JRG Entertainment is geared up for what’s become
the show to walk the catwalk on in the NYC fashion world, this marks eleven years that Junior Giddings has been in the business of entertainment and fashion. The show is back in Brooklyn, NY for its 4th annual extravaganza; the Great Fashion Mix Series –
Bikini Under The Bridge set to take place in Empire Fulton Ferry Park, DUMBO, Brooklyn, the popularity and success of the show means that once again the tents go up and the models will appear in a 2-show Catwalk fanfare starting at 4p.m. on July 12th.
Two pre-show launch events have been scheduled to maximize interest in the show which often premiers the work of little known and new comer designers of the Caribbean Diaspora; with noted fashion master, Walter Greene and radio host Ann Tripp, this year the show will boast one of Elite Model’s top talents, International Supermodel Lu Sierra, co-hosting Bikini Under The Bridge. Some of the featured designs by award-winning designers will be showcased in addition to NEW designers who will debut their swimwear collections. Bikini Under The Bridge has also been a feature platform for some of America’s Next Top Model (ANTM) contestants like Camille McDonald and Sheena Satana.
One minor mishap at Saturday night’s Meet the Models event has been deemed unfortunate but a learning lesson says JR. Giddings, “We have gained popularity for the show and that makes people curious, and curiosity means interest”; with that interest our patrons increase but sometimes something unexpected does happen. “We are always prepared; now we will be even more prepared” he added.
JRG’s fans also agree that with growth, changes must be made to accommodate new and old patrons alike; their concerns is to not have a Caribbean roots entrepreneur loose out in our community because of childish antics. Yes, Jayzee, P.Diddy and Keifer Sutherland have all made headlines for actions taking place at key social events but shouldn't, let’s treasure our own; our support of JRG Entertainment events will ensure its continued success; so let’s do it, says one patron who attended the event.
None of JRG’s personnel were involved in the misunderstanding.
